A Simple Idea That Solved a Real Problem
Recently, I built my first website of 2025 using Bolt.new. The main function? Automatically generating domain names — checking availability, pricing, renewal costs, and more.

At first, this wasn’t meant to be a serious project — just something to satisfy my own needs as a developer. Since I frequently build websites, I often find myself needing a good domain. But every time, the process is the same:
- Spend a long time brainstorming a good name.
- Check if the domain is available.
- If it’s available, decide whether the price is reasonable.
This cycle repeats at least 20 times a year, and each time, it takes me 1–2 hours. That adds up to 1–2 full days wasted every year! Imagine what I could do with that time — spending it with my parents, my wife, and my kids. That thought alone made me realize: I needed a tool to automate this process.
AI Changed the Way I Build
Now, let me clarify — AI isn’t necessary to build a website. But in my case, AI changed the way I approached development.
I’m not a front-end expert. I don’t know how to design a beautiful UI, pick the right colors, or create smooth user interactions. But thanks to AI-powered tools like Bolt.new, those problems no longer exist.
At first, I wasn’t sure how powerful Bolt.new really was. I just wanted to test it out. But then — I hit the Enter key.
The Moment AI Became My Frontend Partner

I simply described my idea, and within 5 minutes, it generated a complete demo. And honestly? It exceeded my expectations.
It wasn’t perfect — it was just a static page at first, with buttons that didn’t respond. But the layout, content structure, and overall style were exactly what I wanted. That moment was exciting.
Then, I pushed it further — I asked it to simulate domain name generation and display relevant domain information.

Tempted to try it yourself?
You can copy my exact prompt below and test it for yourself. If you’re curious but don’t want to think too hard about prompts, just paste it in and go.
- the static page generation prompts

Domain Name Generator Website
1. Contains all page design elements that meet the requirements
for applying for Google Adsense
2. The domain name generation function can be completed using ai api calls
3. A large input box is displayed in the middle of the homepage,
which is used for users to input the corresponding brand, website content,
niche, theme, etc., and some friendly prompts can be given so that users
can use it at a glance.
4. Give some examples for users to refer to
2. simulate domain name generation and display relevant domain information

Please help me simulate the backend function
after clicking generate names so that I can see the effect
Bolt.new is a paid tool, priced based on tokens. But good news — it offers a free trial. I’ve tested it myself, and you can generate a complete website without paying. If your prompt is well-structured, you can get a solid front-end project in one go.
With this tool, backend developers like me can start building products without struggling with UI/UX. It’s a game-changer.
What’s Next for My Website?
Right now, my website lets you enter a keyword, and it generates a list of relevant domain names. It also shows:
- Which domains are available
- Which domains are already taken
- The price of each available domain
The next step? As you know , the functionalities are simulation. So I will add the real backend code by bolt.new .
Besides, adding a direct purchase feature. Soon, you’ll be able to click on an available domain and go straight to a domain registrar to buy it. And just like that, my first revenue-generating website of 2025 will be live.
I’ll continue documenting my progress, sharing updates, and even teaching you how to build a website like this yourself.
